Questions sellers ask

Is this AI? Does it call ChatGPT or another model?

No. ListingForge uses hand-written templates, synonym tables and rule lists that run in JavaScript on your device. There's no AI API and no server — which is why it can be $9 once instead of a monthly subscription.

Where does my data go?

Nowhere. Everything runs in your browser. Your free-tier counter and license status are stored in your browser's localStorage. No account, no tracking pixels.

Will this guarantee my listing is approved?

No tool can. The checker catches common, documented problems (length limits, banned characters, risky claims). Marketplace policies change and category rules vary — always review against the platform's current help pages. Sources we used are listed in the README.

Which platforms' rules are included?

Amazon (75-char title since Jul 27 2026, Item Highlights, banned title characters, word-repeat limit, 249-byte search terms, main-image spec, AI synthetic-people tag), TikTok Shop (25–255 title, image rules, AIGC disclosure), Etsy (140-char title, 13×20 tags, AI disclosure), and Shopify (SEO title/meta lengths).

Does it write image prompts or generate images?

No. It gives you a shot list and a spec checklist so you (or your photographer) shoot the right images — real photos of the real product.

How does the license work?

Buy once on Gumroad, get a license key by email, paste it here. It unlocks Pro in that browser; re-enter it on another device.
